Our Story

I met Layla at the beach on what was supposed to be a quiet afternoon. Max, my roommate’s overly friendly golden retriever, had other plans. While I was distracted setting up my towel, Max made a beeline for Layla, who was sitting nearby reading a book. Before I could stop him, he’d snatched her sunhat and was prancing around like he’d just won a trophy.

I ran over, apologizing profusely, but Layla was laughing too hard to be annoyed. “Guess he has good taste,” she joked, tossing me a playful smile. We ended up talking for hours—about books, beaches, and how Max might secretly be a matchmaker.

Now, two years later, we’re planning our wedding. The ceremony? On that same beach, of course. And Max, the mischievous dog who started it all, will be trotting down the aisle as our ring bearer. Layla’s laughter and that beach are where my forever began.
